The New Go Pro HERO6 Is Here And The Quality Looks Incredible
When it comes to mountable camera technology, there are lots of brands saturating the market these days, but GoPro seems to keep their edge as the market leader and just recently, they dropped another camera into the mix, trying to expand exactly what we expect from these kinds of cameras and the results are looking promising so far. Let’s dig into exactly what the HERO6 has to offer and why you might want to consider adding the latest GoPro to your own personal collection this fall.
For starters, let’s get down to brass tax. This bad boy is able to shoot 4k at 60 frames per second, and also allows for shooting in a slow-motion mode that will allow 2.7K at 120 fps giving you those super smooth shots even when the speed isn’t there. If you really want to cut the speed out of the equation, super-slow-mo is available 240 fps at 1080 resolution. That would be really clutch if you want to analyze something like how your car is launching off of the line as it would allow you to get in close and analyze every last movement.
A couple of other selling points that GoPro offers are that the HERO6 should be better in all light conditions and they throw in a new processor powering better effects like the slow-motion that we mentioned previously and a more thorough image stabilization system. Upgraded Wi-Fi will allow for better communication with the app as to prevent lag. Last but not lease, there will be an integrated “touch to zoom” on the LCD screen that will allow you to zoom in with a swipe of the fingertip.
