The Science Behind Why Mustang Owners Crash Their Cars
You have seen it over and over again, videos posted and jokes made around the internet about Ford Mustang drivers and their inability to drive their car when it comes to pulling it out of a car meet and trying to show off a little bit. More frequently than with other vehicle models, it seems like Mustang owners manage to find their way into inanimate objects and occasionally a crowd here and there. Luckily, most of the time, these are low speed situations where nobody gets injured but it really leads you to wonder why these incidents are isolated to one model, in particular.
To answer that question, this time, we turned to well-known Mustang aficionado, Alejandro Flores as he takes an attempt at breaking down his own version of exactly why it seems like these drivers just can’t keep themselves out of the wall.
You could just attribute it to inexperienced drivers, but wouldn’t that mean that the incidents would happen across more than one platform more regularly? If that were the case, you’d think that other cheaper cars would more frequently featured in these kinds of crash videos like the Mustangs are.
Check out the video below as Flores, who you might better now as Yolodouchebag, takes us for a ride on his daily routine and gives us his very own personal rundown of the formula that he thinks centers somewhere around the aforementioned metric of inexperience along with more powerful engines and a rear wheel drive concoction that’s bound to send crowds flying when it comes time for these drivers to try and get the showing off out of their system. Whether he hits the nail on the head here or not is up for debate but I think that the one thing that most certainly is a fact is that if you see one of these cars pulling out of your local car show, you might want to keep an eye out and be ready to run for you life!
