Whether they be bred for performance or gas mileage, designed to turn heads or designed to be this aerodynamic as humanly possible, cars can be created for lots of reasons. There are a ton of different machines out there for every taste and every want or need. This time, we just so happen to be checking out a car that is a one-of-one creation that Mercedes-Maybach decided to undergo to show off what they will be able to create for the masses in the year 2035 and beyond. After seeing a machine like this, the next natural step is to wonders how exactly you’re going to get your hands on it, however, it ends up being one great big tease as this thing will never hit the streets… at least not in the next couple decades.

For those who are curious as to what Mercedes is up to, this is their VisionMaybach 6 Cabriolet, the 20-foot long electric car that is capable of creating 750 hp. While this exact machine might not see the production line, if what actually comes out of this is anything close to what we see as the car made its debut at the Pebble Beach golf course, the future is incredibly bright for the world of luxurious electric machines.

Just picture a world where exotic cars look like this and the luxury sedans rolling around in the streets aren’t making a single peep. It might have once seemed to be a distant future but with concepts like this and all of the efforts that we’re seeing from companies like Tesla, it might not be long before that actually happens.
