These Guys Blow up the Engine in a Chevy Lumina on Purpose
When a regular person sees a car that’s deemed unsafe for road use and doesn’t really have any useful parts on it, they see it as a headache to get out of the way but when a gear head sees such a car, there’s a good chance that they might just see a playground in front of them that they can completely beat on with no remorse.
In this situation, that’s exactly what happens when these guys come head-to-head with a 1996 Chevrolet Lumina that’s way past its useful life and instead of just taking it to the scrap yard, they decide that they’ll have a little bit of fun with it first to see how much abuse they can put this engine through before it completely conks out.
With a mixture of antifreeze, mouthwash, clearcoat and even some rocks, These guys fill up the oil neck with their concoction and fire up the poor car to see exactly how long it will be able to live through the suffering and torture provided by its new substitute for oil.
Check out the video demonstration below to see how well this car did against the steep hill which it had to climb. Just a little spoiler alert, there’s no way that the car is going to make it out alive but it’s certainly fun to watch the byproduct!
