These Street Legal Bumper Cars Are Something That The Friend Group Needs ASAP
When it comes to those of us who appreciate the effort that goes into making a custom ride, we’re all looking for something different. As it turns out, what we ride or drive can really go a long way toward showing off our personalities. With that, some of us really strive to go the extra mile in order to bring something to life that’s unlike anything else on the streets.
This time, we check in with a couple of custom creations that are definitely unlike most of what you’re going to see out there on the roadways these days. What we have here is a variety of different bumper cars. Yep, that’s right. We’re talking about those toys that you see at the carnival ramming into one another in a confined space. These particular examples, though, don’t exactly fit the mold of a traditional bumper car.
Starting with the bodies of bumper cars that date all the way back to the year 1936, this collection of 10 trick machines gets a whole variety of modifications to become street legal. With a custom suspension and chassis along with a set of golf cartwheels, these carts really come to life. We didn’t get the rundown on each one of them but from the one that Ridiculous Rides did go into detail on, we find that it has power from a Kawasaki Ninja. The motorcycle engine is 500cc with two cylinders.
Down in the video below, we get a good idea of how exactly somebody manages to make such an odd idea come to life. It isn’t every day that we see somebody re-purpose a carnival ride to drive on the street. When it all comes together, though, these incredibly unique creations really speak to us. Oh yeah, and they definitely have to create quite an attention grabber on the roads as well.
