This is How Norwegian Air Ambulances Do Their Landings… Like a Boss
It might look like just another day at work for these Norwegian air ambulance pilots but, I can guarantee you that doing something like this is a lot harder than it looks as these guys use absolute ability and precision to bring their helicopter down to a situation that looks nothing short of impossible. It’s really incredible to watch these guys go to work as they show off the skills that they have built up over the years.
This time, as a helicopter is forced to drop somebody off to assist on the scene of an accident, there isn’t too much room two touch down. However, instead of actually touching down, the pilot takes the opportunity to use a guard rail to balance on, hovering above the surface of the ground using the rail for a little bit of extra stability while a responder hops out. I couldn’t even imagine the focus that pulling off a maneuver like this would take in such a tight area where time is of the essence.
If it weren’t for these guys, there would be a good chance that the proper help needed to assist with the situation would be unable to make it to such an isolated area. Advancements like these in technology have really come a long way to make sure that people are able to stay alive longer by getting the help they need when they need it.
Check out the video down below that will put you on the scene of the emergency, leaving the responders to have to react in a hurry but also keep their precision. With maneuvers like this, I think it’s safe to say that these pilots are definitely saving lives one day at a time with their abilities to put people who can help in the thick of things.
