This is What Happens When a Train Runs Over a Fire Hose
When it comes time to extinguish a blaze, a fire company has a lot of things to think about in the proximity of a fire like this one. It isn’t always as simple as rolling up to the side of the emergency, pulling out a hose, and pointing it at the fire to put it out.
This time, we are shown the situation that puts firefighters in quite the predicament and one false move ends up causing some damage that we’re sure that nobody wanted to deal with. However, accidents do happen and this one is a slip up that they’re going to have to take head on.
Check out the video below that shows off the moment that a fire hose was laid across train tracks and the train barreling down the tracks ended up slicing right through it and tearing it out of the hydrant, destroying some equipment along with the hose. Now, the conductor did try and stop the train but if you’ve ever seen how these things operate, there was definitely nowhere near enough space to make it happen.
