This is Why You Don’t Text and Drive…

In this day and age, with all the technology that we have at our fingertips, we really have every opportunity in the world to be distracted while carrying out a whole variety of different tasks. If you’ve ever tried to hold a conversation with somebody for more than a couple of minutes, you might’ve noticed this distraction as it seems like a lot of people just can’t refrain from pulling out their cell phone to check out what’s going on in their world online. At times, this can even get dangerous as texting and driving seems to be an issue that has caused drivers to do some things that are pretty erratic out on the roadways.

This time, we check out a pretty extreme example that appears to be a case of texting and driving as one driver is rolling at a low speed in a parking lot. Everything seems to be yelling normal, that is, until the vehicle ends up plowing straight into a pole that obviously isn’t going anywhere. It seems like something that would be pretty easy to catch if you were paying attention but this driver seems to have either been temporarily blinded or had some sort of lapse in focus. Even though it’s a pretty low speed, the car appears to take on a hefty amount of damage as well.

If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll be able to capture the curious security footage that takes you inside of this moment as the vehicle just straight up plows into a pole without any warning before the driver gets out with a whole bunch of confusion. It’s scenes like there’s really makes you scratch your head and might even be a sign that you should pay a little bit closer attention to the road. Hopefully, everything with this individual ended up being alright because it looks like that car took a pretty gnarly lick!
