This Miniature Homemade Jet Engine Looks Quite Dangerous!

This miniature jet engine looks a little sketchy, but man does it sound AWESOME!

YouTuber Luigi Trinidad claims to have built this small jet engine from items that can be bought off the shelf, and without any type of schematic or drawings. The diminutive jet engine, which might make and interesting addition to an RC plane or even a Traxxas monster truck, spins up and certainly sounds like its trying to take flight, though it’s hard to tell just how high the RPM’s really are.

Luigi says he plans to take what he’s learned from building this model and upsize the next build, possibly building a working model of a turbojet engine. We certainly hope he does and we hope he has a backyard test stand to try it out on!
