This revolutionary tweel will forever change how we drive vehicles
While it might not seem like it to the average consumer, the technology behind the rubber that’s under your car is constantly changing and being improved upon with manufacturers attempting to make their tires grip better, last longer, or be more durable.
This time, we check out tires that might just be something that you’ll be seeing more of in the future as air is completely omitted from the tire entirely to create the “tweel,” the tire and wheel in one. The idea is to prevent flats due to blowouts or punctures that could hurt the tire’s integrity.
Check out the video below as a couple of examples of this kind of tire technology are put to the test to show us exactly how something like this could work! What do you think of the potential of the tires of the future not relying on air for any reason at all?
