Top Gear Rips On The Porsche 911 GT2 RS MR
When it comes to the Porsche nameplate, there is a lot of performance heritage that has gone into making the brand what it is today. With that in mind, it has all culminated in an age of cars that is nothing short of exceptional. Among the elite in that class is the Porsche GT2 RS. Unfortunately, we have seen the last of these cars roll off of the assembly line, well, with a few exceptions. However, that isn’t to say that we have to stop with the fun. These things are going to be belting out some of the industry’s best performance for years to come, we’re sure!
In this one, we take an inside look at what the GT2 RS MR has to offer. If we were to sum it up, the model is something like a regular GT2 RS except on steroids. Just when we thought that it didn’t get much better than a $400k super performer, in comes some modification that takes it to a new level. It’s a car that we really can’t help but hold in high regard. The machine holds its own in just about every facet of performance automobile. This is one of those machines that’s a lot better experienced than talked about. The sights and sounds of this thing ripping around a race track are almost unexplainable.
By following along with the video below, we get the point of view from Top Gear presenter, Chris Harris, as he gets behind the wheel. As always, Chris brings us about as close as one can get to being behind the wheel without actually driving. In a world that seems to sometimes overpromise and underdeliver, the GT2 RS MR is a spectacle. Like they say, seeing is believing and we think that just about anyone who sees this one won’t be able to help but fall in love.
