Toyota Tacomas Take Down Some Of The Fastest Imports Around

For those who never set foot on the premises of Maryland International Raceway for the Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals, they’re missing out. Luckily, though, we have plenty of videos to recap the action and give us a little bit more of the story behind some of the fastest vehicles on the scene. This time, we check out a little blue bit of a plot twist that happened at the event this past November.

When it comes to the “True Street” class, we get to see some pretty incredible vehicles. They’ll all be shooting for that $5000 in cash at the end of the rainbow. The slight barrier in between every vehicle and that money, though, stands 31 others in the field of 32. They’re all coming with a vengeance and looking to do the same thing.

Most of the time, the field is filled with cars but this time, a couple of trucks decided the come and ruffle some feathers a little bit. Two Toyota Tacomas both built by one shop decided to roll up to the scene this year and really made a statement. In fact, regardless of the cars in the class, the trucks would qualify number one and number two.

Not only did they qualify well, but they raced their hearts out when it came time to put up or shut up. In the other machine, we see a familiar face that that actually made a couple of passes at World Cup last year. This black one is powered by Toyota 2JZ power. How far can use trucks stand to go?
