Trying to Start a Massive Wheel Loader That Has Been Sitting 20+ Years

Time and time again, we have posted about old-school muscle cars that have been found sitting in the weeds and needing a little bit of revival. Every once in a while, we’ve found something like an old SUV that gets brought back from the grave again. This time, though, we check out an entirely different corner of the junkyard revival community that decides to take on the likes of heavy equipment.

In this particular case, we find a Clarke 125C wheel loader that has been sitting for quite some time. When it’s discovered, the person behind this video seems to think that somebody was in the middle of an oil change and they just up and left. Therefore, there has been no oil in it at is the machine has been waiting for somebody to save it for the past 20 years or so.

Needless to say, this Cummins-powered monster is big and it’s very stuck. When combined with the rust that’s absolutely everywhere and foliage growing throughout, it’s going to be quite a challenge to be able to revive the beast. However, Diesel Creek, the creator behind this video, seems to think that that juice will be worth the squeeze when all is said and done.

As the current owners have inherited the machine from a family member that has passed away, they seem to want to get rid of it. However, in order to do that, the person behind the camera is going to have to do their best in order to get it running because simply put, it needs to be driven away as there’s no way that a truck is going to be able to pull it in the location that it sits.

Will this be a success story or is this machine going to be left to sit for at least another 20 years? By following along with the video below, we find out just that.
