Turbo Silverado Comes to Life, Makes Great Numbers on the Dyno

Just when you thought that only cars could get down and get involved in the action, the world of performance trucks sneaks up and smacks you in the back of the head, showing that the heavyweights can come to do battle as well and they can do it very well.

This time, we join in on the action has TalonTSi97 brings us a little bit of footage that shows a turbocharged Chevrolet Silverado showing us what it’s made of. With just a little bit of boost, the truck is able to rocket its way to 660 hp on the dyno, not too bad for a stock bottom end truck engine.

I bet that there are a fair amount of sports car owners who have had a pretty dumbfounded look on their faces when they rolled up next to this thing at a red light and had the heavy duty hauler smoke them, rocketing off of the line and leaving the opponent in the dust.
