Vaughn Gittin Jr. tests a Trans Am series Ford Mustang

Contrary to traditional Vaughn Gittin Jr. style, this time he isn’t exactly sliding around the corners in an all-out sideways drifting action like you’re used to seeing from him.

In fact, this time, he’s thrashing through the turns in a whole different way. This time, Gittin hops behind the wheel of a Trans Am series Ford Mustang that’s designed to stick to the road like flies to some fly paper.

We’re able to ride along with the driving legend thanks to a little bit of in-car footage showing off the test session in July, where Vaughn teamed up with Loshak Racing and Mike Cope Racing to get in some seat time in the TA2 Ford Mustang.

Check out the video below as we see a new kind of racing from Vaughn as he prepares to race this car in the Trans Am Series at Road America during the NASCAR race weekend on August 29, 2015.
