Vintage seaplane lands in Lake Havasu and the Colorado River
If money weren’t an object I’m sure that many folks would love to get their hands on a personal aircraft like the one pictured here. This vintage seaplane that touches down so gracefully in Lake Havasu and the Colorado River looks like a blast to operate or ride along in.
We’re able to virtually ride along and see what it’s like to land in the water after descending from the air in one of these beauties thanks to this killer video. The craft in question here is none other than a restored 1949 Grumman Mallard G73T seaplane.
Checking out the twin-enginengine aircraft that cranks out around 1500 hp at the shafts is truly a treat because in total, only about 59 of these airplanes were ever built. We wouldn’t be surprised if you told us that this was the only one still flying around today.
Check out the video below that shows the epicness of such a plane in motion and bring along some of your friends because this aircraft is big enough to fit 12 people onboard.
