What Does It Look Like Under The New Ford GT?

With the new Ford GT, the car community found the release of the car as a time to start to speak up and say exactly what they thought of all of the different components that Ford was trying out with the newly revived application. However, even as we began to get familiar with the amazing machine, we still haven’t seen the entire thing in detail just yet.

There aren’t too many videos out there, in fact, that decide to explore the supercar from an angle like this and it really gives you a little bit more perspective on exactly how the GT is engineered to reach great performance heights.

When the man behind the Drag Times YouTube channel was tasked with installing a dash cam on his Ford GT, he would slap the car on the lift and give us an opportunity to take a peek underneath to see exactly how the team behind the car designed the underside of the machine to help align with the bigger overall goal of being a master of efficiency, even when it comes to how it cuts its way through the air. We’re not sure of what you were expecting to see you under there but, when you take a peek, well, in fact, there isn’t very much to see at all.

If you check out the video below, you’ll see exactly what we’re talking about here as carbon fiber and other flat surfaces seem to cover absolutely everything underneath of the car, probably giving the vehicle the ideal aerodynamic stance in order to channel all of the air in just the right way as to provide both cooling benefits and aerodynamics alike. It’s quite crazy to see how they decided to configure this one to gather just the right balance of a variety of factors.
