What happens when you mix Aluminium with Mercury

In this world, there’re so many different things to observe that it’s impossible to understand them all but when you watch this chemical reaction between aluminum and mercury, you don’t necessarily need to understand what’s going on to be able to appreciate the mixture. Once these two chemicals interact in such a way to change their form, it really creates an interesting display that we have definitely never seen anything similar to before. Basic intuition could never really explain something like this but it’s pretty interesting to watch as the two come together in such a way as to make something entirely new.

It all starts out as some mercury is poured on a slab of aluminum and then, once the aluminum is drilled into, it all starts to erupt! From this fat flat slab of aluminum, a tower of sorts is erected when the chemicals begin to interact in such a way to form something that’s nothing short of amazing. The way that these two substances come together is something that will make your mind wander as you try and figure out exactly how something like this happens. You would’ve maybe thought that some bubbling would occur but, when this thing practically builds a tower from the ground up, it’s something that’s tough to grasp.
