Why Technology is Going to Kill Racing in the Next 20 Years
The world of automobiles alongside the world of racing is changing on a day-to-day basis. Obviously, with more relevant technology, cars are going faster and faster and with the constant evolution of the game, it lead you to wonder what exactly the future is going to look like.
This time, yours truly hopped into his truck and went for ride to talk about everything from the fear of the roadways being taken over by autonomous vehicles to the possibility of combustion engines becoming a thing of the past. While these things might seem far-fetched, having a daily drivable 8-second drag racing machine would’ve seemed like nothing more than a dream less than a couple of decades ago.
Even if you don’t believe every idea projected in the video, this topic of discussion surely could be the fuel for some interesting conversation. What will drag racing, track racing, and every other kind of wheeled racing look like in ten or even twenty years from now?
