Coming to a Fair Value for Widow’s GT500 Barn Find Might be Harder Than it Sounds
The barn find is definitely an interesting concept. It shows us lots of not only automotive history. These finds also say something about people in general. It can speak to how life can take its twists and turns. Sometimes, vehicles are left for granted. Not every single bard find situation means a vehicle has been taken for granted. However, when we see some cars just left behind to rot, it can really make the mind wander.
This time, the topic of discussion is none other than a 1967 Shelby GT500. As this is a barn find video, it’s not necessarily a car that’s in the best condition that you’ll find out there. What we’d do see, though, are the remnants of the machine that have managed to weather the elements in a pretty big shed. After going over this thing, we can practically feel the history teaming out of every pore. It kind of gives us a visualization of what this thing was like when it was rolling through the streets all those years ago.
These days, though, the car is owned by a widow who is looking to get a fair value out of it. A lot of barn finds can pose a challenge in relation to value. There are about a million components that can make a car worth more or less. Options, condition, and more could swing the value one direction or the other in a massive way. This time, the fairest way found to do it all was by bringing out an appraiser. Unlike many barn finds, this one won’t be bought, restored, and sold. Instead, it’s headed to a personal collection.
When we follow along with the video down below, we’re able to check out this car for ourselves. We’re taken along for a journey through this barn that really proves to be entertaining and educational.
