WORLD RECORD Duramax Diesel Dyno Explosion

Dmitri Millard’s Chevrolet Duramax features a concrete filled block from industrial injection, Jermy Wagler Performance BRODIX heads, industrial injection pumps and injectors, and a big single mount kit, a gtx 4718 that just so happened to explode.

According to the owner, he “just made the event as they were getting ready to pack it up, we got the nitrous wired at the last second on the dyno as they were strapping, I hadn’t slept in 2 days trying to get the truck ready testing the new single kit.”

Check out the video below that shows why trying to break the previous record of 1451hp might have been a bad idea with such a last second effort. From what we understand, the truck was making somewhere in the neighborhood of 1300hp when the big stage of nitrous came on and catastrophe unfolded!
