World Speed Record attempt by a Mobility Scooter!

Watch the Anderson’s Bodyshop team attempt to break the World Speed Record for a mobility scooter at the 2014 Manx Drag Racing Association’s ‘Pokerstars Drag & Drift’ event at Jurby Motodrome.

The current World Record stands at 82mph set by Klaus Nissen Petersen of Denmark, but can the Isle of Man team of David Anderson and pilot Matthew Hine, with their 600cc Suzuki Bandit engined mobility scooter weapon, smash the record? This most certainly isn’t your grandparents’ mobility scooter, it even has a set of slicks! Check out the action below.
