World’s First C7 Corvette Powerglide Swap is COMPLETE!

For those of us who have a love of speed, we might have different ways of getting there but everybody has the same end goal and that is to make their vehicle as fast as their heart desires. When it comes to the StangKilr C7 Chevrolet Corvette, the machine is certainly one that has the gusto to turn heads as the ProCharger setup really screams and makes some insane power. However, in the name of getting all that power to the ground more efficiently, owner, Justin Keith, decided that he wanted to go a little bit different route when it came to what exactly was between the engine and the rear end.

Instead of building the pre-existing transmission, He decided to ditch it entirely, electing instead to go with a Powerglide, ensuring that he would have reliable shifting each and every time along with procuring a setup that probably isn’t going to break anytime soon. Sometimes, you just need to skip all of those middle steps and all the hassle with the back-and-forth that involves parts that you’re not exactly sure are going to work and swing straight for the fences. That’s exactly what we see here as this gorgeous Corvette gets the upgrades tacked on at RPM Transmissions.

If you follow along with the video below, you’ll be able to see the car that might just look familiar to you as it sports that battleship gray exterior and Weld Racing wheel setup, a pairing that really does indicate that this thing has some hurt laying under the hood. We have to say that when it sets tire to the pavement, this thing is more likely than not going to prove that has a bite to back up all that bark as well. I’m not quite sure how you could see a car like this and not instantly fall in love with it as we have to admit that we certainly did.
