1200°C Molten Copper in Slow Motion – The Slow Mo Guys
When you look at things with the naked eye, only so much detail can be picked up when it comes to a moving object but, when you introduce a slow motion camera to the equation, you’re able to take a much closer look at the subject as it’s slowed down, frame by frame, to realize what’s happening right in front of you.
Now, you know when such slow motion technology is involved, it’s probably the work of the Slow Mo Guys and this time, well, you guessed right! In this experiment, the gentleman get together and have a little bit of fun with some molten hot copper in a way that you’ve never seen before, at least not without the help of a camera like this one.
Feast your eyes on this display as the glistening and bright substance is observed at a fraction of the rate that you would see in real-time. I have to admit that this could just be one of the most mesmerizing things that I have ever personally laid eyes on. My inner nerd kind of wants to capture it and be able to set it as my screensaver.
Check out the demonstration below to see the wonderful view for yourself. Who would’ve thought that doing something as simple as slowing down the speed of the film here could make it look so much more beautiful than it does to those who are looking at it live?
