2015 Porsche GT3RS in action at the Nürburgring
Exclusive footage of the new 991 Porsche GT3RS testing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. If you are unfamiliar with the 911 family from Porsche and it’s hierarchy, the GT3 is it’s naturally aspirated version of the track model you can buy for the streets. The outgoing GT3 had a 475hp flat six cylinder motor that would rev to 9,000 rpm. Handling, brakes and aerodynamics are all improved over the standard and turbo Porsche models.
Although the last year’s Porsche Turbo was actually slightly faster, this car is built for the track and hits the turns effortlessly. The Porsche Turbo and Gt3 carry about the same price tag in 2014 of $131,000. But the question still lies in, what will the new GT3RS bring us? Watch the testing video here and stay tuned for more updates.
