The New 2020 Chevy Silverado HD Gasser Is Shockingly Impressive

Back in their formative years, trucks were very simple. There weren’t very many options to choose from and drivers didn’t really have very many luxuries on board. Instead, trucks were seen less as a daily drivable vehicle and more as a work vehicle.

These days, however, it seems like truck owners can have their cake and eat it too. There are all sorts of different luxuries and features that one can choose from when they purchase a pickup truck. This might mean picking out an interior, color selection, and even things like high tech infotainment systems.

One of the really big questions when purchasing a truck is “gasoline or diesel?”

This is certainly a very valid question in just about every application. I think that most truck enthusiasts might have their eye on that shiny new diesel. However, with the price tag and maintenance that comes along with it, is always worth it? Sure, the diesel-powered truck is the end all be all. It’s the truck that can pull the most and work most efficiently. However, in the vast majority of cases, most people probably don’t need a diesel-powered truck.

This time, the diesel truck is left out of the equation. Instead, we focus on the 2020 Silverado 2500 HD gas truck. It might not quite be on the level of the diesel, but the guys at TFL Truck think its actually pretty impressive.

In this day and age where everything seems to be more efficient than it has ever been, is there any reason to really buy a diesel-powered truck? Will the gasoline engine be able to come close to the torque provided by the diesel-powered monster to pull the heaviest load? We’re not sure that we could go that far, yet. What we can say is that this gasser is blowing people away!
