Can You Fit A 275 Drag Radial On A 14″ Tire?

In this day and age, there are a lot of ways to irritate the internet. As an entertainer on YouTube, people are going to be ready to pick apart just about everything. While browsing comment sections across the web, it’s kind of surprising to see what people are willing to waste their time geting angry about. They’ll argue about anything!

As YouTuber, John Doc, found out, that could even come with something as simple as putting a tire on a wheel. Think about that. People managed to get all fired up about something as simple as a drag radial. Even in this corner of the YouTube universe, the struggle is real. However, Doc was determined to go against the grain and do something a little bit differently.

So what’s the issue, anyway? Well, as it turns out, there aren’t very many people who think that one could take a 275 drag radial and stretch it out to fit on a 14″ wide wheel. Instead of listening to the internet, though, it looks like John wanted to take the path less traveled.

When all was said and done, the setup definitely looked a little bit different. While the tire did fit, the comment section raged on about it being unsafe and inefficient. Doc was downright determined to see how it would do when it eventually hit the stip, though. Hit the strip was exactly what would follow the next weekend. Doc would head to Charlotte as the car safely and efficiently made a couple of passes at Street Car Takeover.
