Building A 500cc Snow Scooter In The Garage From Scrap

When we really start digging into the creative corners of the internet, so many different folks have different ideas of fun. A lot of them even inspire us to do more creative things. One never really knows what’s going to happen when we have a couple of guys in a garage with some ability and a nice set of tools. At the end of the day, we might come out with something traditional. On the other hand, though, it could be something completely mindbending. Some of the more fun-to-look-at creations are those that come from deep in the minds of creative folks who are determined to get their ideas into the physical world.

In this one, we check in on a creation that is probably unlike what most have seen before. We certainly know that it’s very unlike anything that we have seen before. It all comes from the same guys that stuck the dirtbike motor in a Barbie Car.

Instead of just a traditional snowmobile, this time, it appears as if several different vehicles have been merged together. On top of these different components from different vehicles, some custom fabrication is thrown into the mix to make everything come together just right and give it a little bit of rigidity. When all is said and done, we’re looking at a 500 cc snowmobile powered scooter.

By following along with this video, we got a front-row view of what appears to be a labor of love. It’s exciting to see how it brings this thing into the real world. When it finally does hit the snow, the snow scooter looks like an absolute blast to pilot around. Whenever we see something like this, we get this feeling that anything is possible with good fabrication. With this one in the books, we’re kind of excited to see what these guys are going to come up with next.
