84-Year-Old Hot Rod Gets Reckless! Burnouts Galore!
Time after time, we see a collection of awesome cars parading through the Dount Garage to be on episodes of Hoonigan’s Daily Transmission, but this time, it looks like we might have stumbled across one of the cars of the guys seem to think is the nicest that has ever seen that burnout pad. When we get the chance to dive into this one, you can see exactly why they think that way. This 84-year-old machine has been spared no attention to detail as every single piece has been addressed to make it all part of one cohesive and quite attractive bigger picture.
The car question is a 1933 Plymouth four-door as pictured in the movie, The Great Debaters. In fact, there’s a good chance that you might have seen Denzel Washington himself behind the wheel of this car as it appeared on screen. However, after the movie made its way through production, the vehicle would find its way to a picture car facility where one of the employees of the facility would exchange some work for the car. He doesn’t say exactly what it took to get it but it sounds like a good trade to us! This was when he got down to business, custom fabricating everything you see except for the cab itself and most of the work will make you pulse with interest.
However, perfect car not, that wouldn’t stop the guys from standing around watching as the machine completely blitzed through a set of tires, doing a big and smoky burnout just like everyone else who comes through the garage is so obliged to do.
Listing off all that’s done to this custom from top to bottom would really do it no justice so we would recommend that you hop into the video below to see exactly what this thing is all about for yourself. We guarantee that you will leave with a great appreciation for this machine after seeing what has been accomplished in the complete overhaul from top to bottom – or your money back.
