SCAM ALERT Thieves Switch Hoses in New Gas Pump Swindle

When it comes to criminals, it seems like a lot of thieves work much harder to steal what other people have earned rather than going out and earning it for themselves.

This time, we’re given some insight on a scam that seems almost too insane to be true. The person looking to get over will swap gas pump handles to the other side and when you swipe your card, you’ll be paying to fill the car on the opposite side of the pump.

That seems like an awful lot of effort and a whole lot of risk as well to earn just a few bucks in extra gasoline. Could you imagine the result if these half baked criminals got caught?
