Cummins Powered Turbo Diesel Dually Chevy C30 Pickup Truck
Roger Tippett has a wild imagination, and lucky for us, he has the skill to bring his vision to life. Check out Tippett’s insane Cummins diesel-powered 1964 Chevy C30 truck! From the Cummins wedged in the engine bay up front to the air ride suspension out back, almost every part and panel on this baby blue hauler is custom in one way or another.
Under the hood, the boosted Cummins powerplant looks right at home thanks to the color-matched accessories and a host of billet components that combine to create a surprisingly clean home for the diesel engine. In the cab, the blue and billet theme continues nicely as a polished aluminum insert in the dash houses the gauges and a trick billet steering wheels points the slammed rig down the road. Out back, the future home of a sure-to-be-trick bed, you can see the valves and bags of the custom air ride system at work.
The trick truck is riding on a super-shiny set of big-rig wheels with low profile tires, and they look perfect for this project. Out back, the fuel tank rests atop the framerails, but will be covered by, or integrated into, the bed once it is added. Our hats go off to Roger and his project-in-progress. We can’t wait to see this thing when it’s all buttoned up in the future!
