This past weekend, two major moments happened at once as Jimmie Johnson managed to grab his seventh championship, creating a tie with the likes of the legendary Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty for the most celebrated driver in the history of the sport when it comes to overall championships. It also happened to be the end of a storied career for Tony Stewart on the same day.
After the race, the drivers who have been racing alongside one another for years shared in a classy moment that was definitely worthy of your time as they embraced and Johnson gave Stewart his championship helmet to commemorate the time that they have spent competing against one another out there on the brutal war field of a racing surface.
