When it comes to racing, it might look like it’s all about just throwing a bunch of power at your setup and punching down the throttle to make it go. Even though all of the racing on Street Outlaws happens in a straight line, there’s a lot more than that!

Even if you can manage to make the power it takes to win, you still have other factors to figure out like how to make it stick to the ground and shift smoothly, staying in a straight line to make the “A to B” blitz go by in the least amount of time possible.

This time, we ride along with Street Outlaws competitors, Farmtruck and AZN as they throw a couple of stages of nitrous at the incognito Chevrolet C10 and the truck doesn’t really seem to be too receptive to huffing all of that nitrous for the time being.

Check out the video below that shows off the test session that displays just one of the bumps in the road that might pop up if you’re on your way to drag racing supremacy. Even for the best of the best, getting to the top is almost never smooth sailing.
