Nitro Engine With a Visible Crankshaft Spinning at High Speed!

Naturally, it’s rather impossible to see inside of a traditional engine while it’s under a load. It’s just the nature of the beast so when you have the opportunity to peek inside of a running engine, it usually happens to be something that sparks a little bit of interest.

That seems to be exactly the situation here as custom parts are fabricated so that we can see exactly how the crankshaft spins inside of this engine. From fire up to shutdown and everything in between, you’re able to follow along with every step of the process.

In this one, we watch as the engine is fired up and rotated at a high speed as we’re able to peek into the bottom end to see exactly how everything works together. The neatest part of the video is when the engine shuts off and we’re able to watch the spinning crankshaft come to a stop, showing how all of the parts interact as they slow down.
