Transformers: The Last Knight, Super Bowl Spot! The End of Transformers?

According to the description, the Last Knight will “shatter the core myths” of the hugely popular Transformers movie franchise, and from this teaser trailer, it looks like things are definitely taking darker turn for our favorite humanoid robots.

With Optimus Prime out of the picture, the task of protecting the humans falls to Bumblebee, along with series veteran Cade Yeager, played by Mark Wahlberg, as well as some new faces. Sir Anthony Hopkins joins the cast as Sir Edmund Burton, along with Laura Haddock, playing the role of Oxford Professor Vivian Wembley. While little is revealed as far as the plot itself, we do see director Michael Bay’s trademark explosions and massive scale cinematography have returned for his fifth and final Transformers film.

The end of the teaser reveals that an extended spot is coming on Sunday, presumably during that certain football game that nobody is allowed to call by name. We will be watching said game waiting on the trailer, and will have it for you as soon as it drops!
