Jeff Lutz Cruisng OKC In His ’57 Chevy on the way to the Street Races

Jeff Lutz is a Drag Week legend, so it’s widely known that he can hop in his badass 1957 Chevrolet and drive it basically anywhere he wants to go. When he’s not going from track to track and ripping off insane ET’s, he spends a little time hanging out with the Street Outlaws crew in Oklahoma City.

And in true Jeff Lutz fashion, when he decided to take a shot at the most well-known Top 10 list in the nation, he didn’t load the car up in a trailer and carry it to the race location, he drove it there. Check out this footage – headphone users beware the wind noise at the beginning! – of Lutz cruising out o the races, casually rolling though the streets of the 405.

The video caught a solid looking test hit, before showing Jeff line up with the Sonoma for some side-by-side action. It looks like the Sonoma jumped out front early, but it’s hard to tell if it was able to hold off the big top end charge from the boosted ’57.
