AMG Service Gone Incredibly Wrong, Technicians Caught on Camera
$170k Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG
When you take your vehicle anywhere to be worked on, you kind of come to expect a certain level of professionalism with your experience with a shop that has been around the block a couple times. However, when you’re spending the extra money to take your car to the dealership, more particularly a Mercedes-Benz dealership, you almost come to expect that white glove experience, having your car coddled and absolutely taken care of in every single way imaginable. You come to expect them to break out all of the extra stops to make sure that your baby is taken care of without any chance of anything bad happening.
Luckily dashcams are showing it all! Like this video here:
Now, nothing catastrophic really happened during this stay for a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, what the owner calls a $170,000 car, at a Mercedes dealership, however, as the car had a dash cam that was constantly running and the technicians didn’t notice it, let’s just say that a couple of controversial things might’ve happened during the experience. When the key was flipped on, the interesting footage would begin to unfold as the employees of the dealership were being recorded, obviously unbeknownst to them as they would continue on, going about their business as usual that we would definitely classify as activity that they probably wouldn’t be taking part in if the new they were on camera.
If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll watch several questionable decision making calls by the folks who are responsible for this Mercedes. Some of what you can expect to see in a situation like this includes but is not limited to the employees bad mouthing the customer for wanting to save a few bucks on parts and also taking a high-powered luxury sedan for an ice cream break, going so far as spilling chocolate ice cream in a cup holder to top it all off.
