Muscle Car Crash Test Will Help You to Decide Which NOT to Buy
When it comes to making a car that is acceptable for regular road use, it isn’t as simple as designing it and slapping it on the road. For public safety, it has to go through a series of testing first to make sure that the driver and other occupants will be alright in the unfortunate event of a crash. This is for the best as knowing how likely you are to be in an accident is a reasonable consumer right.
This time, we check out the crash testing of the muscle cars offered up by the big three automakers here in the United States. The selection is, of course, the Chevrolet Camaro, a Ford Mustang, and Dodge Challenger. These cars are exciting to get behind the wheel of but will the saftey testing on any of them make you think twice about operating one?
The three go through quite a rigorous series of tests to make sure that they are roadworthy. Some of the cars pass on an acceptable level and others exceed pass the competition in terms of safety. Now, the decision will be left up to the buyer to decide which of the cars they want to purchase and how heavily safety weighs in as a concern in their buying process. Perhaps some people just don’t care and are willing to ride around in a metal death trap as long as it looks cool and sometimes, people get quite safety conscious!
Check out the video below that shows the destruction of today’s muscle cars in the name of safety to see how they stand up to the test of being dismantled. How heavily of a concern is safety for you when it comes to getting your hands on the latest version of a muscle or sports car?
