Riding One Of The Oldest Working Harley-Davidson Bikes In The World
When you take a look at some of the beautiful technology of today, sometimes, it might be easy to forget that they weren’t necessarily always that way. When you find yourself complaining about a certain feature that your vehicle might have, just remember that years ago, you wouldn’t even have the option to have it onboard! It’s incredibly important to have this perspective and when you look at things that way, looking back at the originals also helps you to appreciate the way that things used to be in a way, seeing just how far tech has come and how maybe, in their time, some features on these older vehicles might have been quite innovative and ahead of their time.
This time, we get the opportunity to practically travel back in time and look at one of the oldest running and driving Harley-Davidson motorcycles that you’ll ever lay eyes on. The old-school bike that you see here was put together all the way back in the year of 1911 and after being passed around a while and sitting in storage to be preserved with low miles, all these years later, we have a very original version of something that you might have seen rolling around on the streets over 100 years ago. It’s pretty crazy to think about all of the decades that are in between when this thing originally came out and what we have today.
If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll be able to catch a quick glimpse and gather a little bit of information about one of these machines that really seems to transcend time. After looking at this thing, you’ll basically feel like you’re in a time machine that takes you all the way back to the year where things were a whole lot simpler and because of that, they were cooler, too!
