Someone Turned Snoopy’s Doghouse Into A Drone, For Real Fans Only!
Fans of the long-running comic strip Peanuts will know exactly what this is as soon as they see it, and those who aren’t fans just might head on over to their favorite search engine to learn more.
Throughout the series of comics, Charlie Brown’s dog Snoopy would find himself in a fantasy world, where he was an ace fighter pilot in combat against the enemy. When he would snap back to reality, we would see that he was actually sitting atop his dog house, straddling the peak as if he were really flying a WWII plane.
Thanks to the awesome technology in drones and RC airplanes, we now have a real life replica of the fearless pilot and his doghouse that takes to the air, just like the beloved pup always dreamed of.
I’m not sure if this is a drone that’s had a dog house built around it, or if it’s a custom built setup that’s tailored to the canine and his dwelling. What I do know is it works, and once its in the air, it is one hundred percent cool to watch! The pilot does a great job of balancing the lift and thrust to make the doghouse fly around just like it would if Charles Schulz himself had drawn it into the comic strip.
I have seen flying lawn mowers that were built around a similar platform, and even saw a flying stop sign once that was similar, this in my opinion, this takes the cake for a flying object that just simply shouldn’t fly. It’s incredibly cool to see the innovative and creative ways people bring their ideas to life and build these unique projects.
