The Italian Job Rock Bouncer Build by Busted Knuckle Off Road
It’s a great time to be alive in the world of motorsports. From drag racing to off-roading to just building badass hotrods, there is so much amazing content being created right now that you can literally spend every second of every day watching videos that are truly interesting and exciting. We especially love build videos and series that follow a project from beginning to end, and we have an awesome one for you today from our buddies over at Busted Knuckle Off Road.
For it to cover a build from beginning to end in a single video, this is a relatively short clip, checking in at just under 20 minutes. The footage follows the Busted Knuckle crew building a Rock Bouncer buggy for a customer from Italy, in spite of a near-complete language barrier, in just a couple of days. The Italian Job, as it is known, is assembled quite literally just down the road from my home, about an hour south on I-65 in Cullman, AL. The BK team joins forces with a whole team of enthusiasts from Italy to assemble the buggy from nothing more than a welded chassis and a pile of parts in just a couple of days, working together as a team to make it happen in the seemingly impossible timeframe.
After the build is completed, the chassis is shipped off to be powder coated, the reassembled and shipped to Italy, where the Busted team joins the owner for some offload shenanigans. Anchored by a 700 horsepower seven liter LS7, the buggy has more than enough power to shred any obstacle in its path, especially with the huge Super Swamper tires and beefy Radflo suspension working to keep the tires in contact with the ground as much as possible.
The guys put the Italian Job through its paces in the damp Italian backwoods and you can see it is more than capable, powering up and over literally everything in its path, proving that the Busted Knuckle Signature Series chassis is a stellar platform for an offroad build.
