Turbo Civic Spins Out at 150 MPH Roll Racing
During the course of a race, there’s not really anybody who knows what’s going to happen. After all, that is why we choose to compete, right? If we all knew exactly how every race was going to end up going for us, there would be no point in lining them up at all. However, while we are interested in seeing a little bit of competitive nature unfold out there on the racing surface, absolutely nobody is looking for a crash. Unfortunately, though, that’s all part of the package when you consider the unpredictability of any race.
Is this one, the guys over at the TalonTSi97 YouTube channel give us a unique opportunity to ride in the passenger seat as an incredibly terrifying situation unfolds. For the driver of this 700 WHP Honda Civic, things appear to be going perfectly smoothly at the Slipstream roll racing event in Pocono, when all of a sudden, the car would certainly be shot off its rocker. After a smooth pass where everything seems to go fine, a leaky catch can eventually got the best of the Honda, putting some oil down on the racing surface. We all know this can certainly end up making things quite a challenge to remain in control. An onboard camera angle shows the drama as the Honda most certainly loses control, spinning around but somehow managing to regain composure without hitting the wall.
This is certainly one that might make those who view it pucker up a little bit, fearing the worst. Luckily, for this driver, a quick scare was all that would happen as he would manage to make his way home without having to repair any damage. I don’t think that it necessarily takes an expert to see that this one could have gone a lot worse.
