Built Raptor VS Roush Built F-150! Which Truck Is Better?
Back in the day, trucks were a utility based vehicle and that was it. Today, obviously there are all sorts of features to support the utility factor in a truck. However, it’s a lot more complicated than that in the scheme of the market. Instead of just going for gold with usefulness, there are other kinds of trucks in the mix as well. For example, people are looking at going off road and performing otherwise with trucks as well.
One example of how this comes into play is the likes of the Ford Raptor. Not only is the truck designed to be efficient when it comes time to get to work but it’s also designed to be able to go off the beaten path and do it quickly. It really leads one to wonder what the best option is in a category like this.
This time, we take a look at a little bit of a comparison. Instead of going straight to the dealer, this one checks out a built Raptor and 650hp F-150 as modified by Roush. No matter which way we go here, it’s going to cost around $80,000. That’s a ton of money to spend on anything including a vehicle. When investing that kind of coin, we want to make sure that we are going to end up getting our value in the long run. The worst feeling in the world would be dumping 80 grand into a truck that disappoints.
When following along with the video below from AmericanTrucks Ford, we get to take on the comparison between a twin turbo V6 in the raptor and a supercharged V8 in the Roush unit. Both trucks are hooked up with lots of power, suspension, and other helpful features to make them useful. Which one will reign supreme? There’s only one way to find out!
