1960 Twin Turbo C10 Stands on the Bumper!
When it comes to drag racing, there are certain platforms that really perform over and over again. Usually, these platforms are small and light. Not only is their weight advantage a plus but they tend to be more aerodynamic as well. After all, air is probably going to navigate around something like a Chevrolet Corvette a lot easier than a truck like this.
This time, we check out what is basically a brick being hurled down the drag strip. However, the Chevrolet C10 is certainly delivering. The truck might be big and built like a sail but it has the power to back it all up.
This truck is a far cry from the 1960 Chevrolet C10 that touched tire to the streets decades ago. With the help of a small block Chevrolet and a pair of turbos, the machine is now making some serious power. Obviously, this comes alongside other modifications designed to fit a bigger tire in the back and trim down on weight a little bit. There are necessary safety components installed in the truck as well. When all is said and done, we have quite a badass looking machine that’s here to party. This truck is an absolute riot to watch!
Down in the BigKleib34 video below, we get to see the old school machine in action. At one point, the truck even manages to lift the front tires up into the air and nearly kiss the back bumper to the drag strip. Heavily modified or not, that’s something that’s incredibly cool to watch. In fact, it might even take the brain a minute to wrap itself around this one.
Seeing an old school pickup like this lift the wheels up to the sky is something special. You never know what you’re going to see at Streetcar Takeover!
