These 9 Trucks Have Show the Worst Resale Value Imaginable
When it comes to purchasing a vehicle, there is one factor that really differentiates new and used. Sure, the obvious exits here. The investment is going to be steeper with a brand-new vehicle. Another factor lurks, though, that can be rather overwhelming with the purchase of a new vehicle.
As we all know, the second that it comes off of a lot, a new vehicle is going to start depreciating. One of the benefits to buying used is the fact that the owner who had it before you will have already absorbed the worst of the depreciation. At least we would hope this is the case.
Now, there are definitely segments where depreciation is going to be worse than others. For example, the luxury segment is probably the worst depreciating type of vehicle that someone could buy. Sure, brand-new Cadillacs and Mercedes-Benz machines might look nice. Heck, they might even have some nice materials inside along with the best in technology. However, the owners of these sorts of cars certainly aren’t doing themselves any favors on the depreciation front in most cases.
On the other hand, one segment that tends to retain its value pretty well is generally trucks. However, just like any other vehicle, these machines are going to depreciate as well. Just how much value can someone stand to lose with the purchase of a truck, though?
This time, the goal is to find out just that. Thanks to a video from the Ideal Media YouTube channel, we get to hear about which trucks have the absolute worst resale value. Just looking at some of these examples makes us a little bit sick to our stomachs. Imagining buying something like this, only to have the price drop out from under us is certainly a situation that we don’t want to have any part of!
