Recovering a Massive Bus Stuck on the Beach

When it comes to spending a day on the beach with your favorite vehicle, unfortunately, sometimes things get a little bit complicated. Driving on the beach in something like a pickup truck requires that drivers follow a basic set of rules. Air down the tires and keep it moving and, more or less, you should be fine. However, when taking a bigger vehicle on the beach, things might just get a little bit more intense.

This time, we check in with the beachgoers who ran into that more complicated situation. As it turns out, they wanted to take their bus turned motorhome into the sand. Normally, this might not be such an issue. However, equipment failure would mean that the bus ended up getting stuck. Our stomachs are turning just thinking about that rescue effort.

With such a heavyweight that needed to be moved, it was definitely going to take a special effort. Being on the beach provides an extra challenge because the tow truck can’t even necessarily make its way out there to pull the bus from its current situation. Speaking from personal experience, having a stuck vehicle and a stuck towing vehicle makes things a whole lot worse.

Luckily, an experienced individual came to the rescue with the help of a Chevy 6500. With a little bit of luck and a lot of experience, Matt’s Off Road Recovery was able to yank this big old bus from what seemed to be a pretty bad spot. It had to be quite the sinking feeling for the bus driver to realize that he had gotten the superheavyweight stuck in such a tumultuous situation. However, when push came to shove, luckily, everything would end up going in his favor. Watching the recovery effort come to life really seems to be something special!
