2WD Machines Converted to 4×4, Go Full Send in Deathwish Mud Buggy Adventures
As we get older, sometimes, it seems like people focus a lot on money. At its core, money can buy a lot of fun things, especially in the world of motorsports.
However, on the flip side, there’s also something that’s just so appealing about a rough and sloppy ride that’s way too much fun. At the end of the day, I think most of us gearheads can attest to the fact that some of our best times were had in a vehicle that might not exactly look the prettiest.
This time, we check out a challenge that brings that exact idea to life. The idea behind the Deathwish Mud Buggy Adventure is simple. It takes cars from all over the country and immerses them in a series of challenges, trail rides, and competitions. The one small caveat is that the vehicles involved have to have never been offered in four-wheel-drive.
Instead, the requirement is that they have been converted to 4×4 and are sporting a minimum of 33-inch tires.
The whole concept is that the creations that spawn from this are probably going to be pretty rough around the edges. Therefore, there will be no incentive to try and keep them clean and the ultimate beating can ensue. Long story short, if this is even remotely as close to as fun as it sounds, the participants and viewers alike are in for a great time.
By following along with the video below, we get to witness the adventure for ourselves with the help of our host, Josh Mazerolle on Busted Knuckle Films. Sure, someone can spend a lot of money to do something impressive. However, it’s ideas like these that really bring our passion to life. When we really stop and think about it, it’s these sorts of adventures that are at the core of the reason why we do what we do.
