Ryan Shows us His Top 10 Builds in West Coast Customs History
Over the years, West Coast Customs has become a household name. For the automotive industry, this is something that’s pretty rare as not too many brands manage to transcend themselves into the homes of as many Americans as West Coast has. However, thanks to their big break with the Pimp My Ride television show, the company has become known for so much more.
While most of us remember the company for their tacky and over the top builds that made for great reality television, it turns out that they pride themselves in some high end builds as well. Outside of their MTV days, the company has taken responsibility for building some of the most insane machines for plenty of celebrities as well as other high-end clients. Luckily, these builds don’t have cotton candy makers in the trunk and waterfalls in the backseat.
This time, Ryan Friedlinghaus, the owner of West Coast Customs, takes us through some of his favorite builds from over the years. Some of these stretch back to the earlier days but all of them have a unique and custom touch. While some are modified vehicles that we might see on the streets, there are even a couple of creations that are completely fresh fabrications as well.
Down in the video below, we get to lay our eyes on some pretty unique hardware. All of these cars seem to be in a different vein as creativity comes to life on each machine. One of the interesting parts of a lot of these rides up they are already some of the most expensive on the market. It definitely takes somebody with a good amount of confidence in themselves to be able to take apart a six-figure car and customize it. West Coast Customs does just that every day, though, and we’d say that they do a pretty awesome job at it!
