The 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 Might Just be the Most Excessively Luxurious Thing We’ve Ever Seen

Naturally, when most people think of Mercedes-Benz, they picture a high-end luxury brand in their head. In fact, this is what the brand has become best known for. While they do produce other products, we think that it’s safe to say that they have really hit the nail on the head with their luxury vehicles over the years.

In fact, one might even go so far as calling Mercedes-Benz the leader or at least one of the leaders in the luxury segment. Therefore, when it comes to their top of the line models, things can get a little bit out of control. Let’s just say that it seems like they really feel the pressure to pack these things with features.

In this clip from the guys over at The Fast Lane, we get the opportunity to check in with the 2020 Mercedes-Maybach GLS600. As our host here points out, the “AMG” badge usually accompanies the most high-performance Mercedes models around. On the other hand, the Maybach badge is the same concept except instead of performance, we find ultimate luxury.

In this day and age, it seems as if the gap between good cars and bad cars is becoming smaller. Let’s just say that more of the affordable names are stepping up their game to provide decent luxury packages. With that, we find that those on the high end of the spectrum have to pick up their game as well. So what does that mean for something donning the Maybach name?
