Street Outlaws Monza Gives Update on Twin Turbo Split Bumper with Larry Larson
Competitors who find themselves on Street Outlaws are on the top of their game. When it comes to competing on the list, everybody is coming for one another. While it might seem like it’s all brotherly love, these guys are definitely about as competitive as it gets. On top of that, they all seem to have the experience and bank account necessary to make their machines go as fast as they possibly can.
With that, we find an interesting mix of factors. As we have seen, even the best drivers can struggle at times if they don’t manage to keep up with the pack. Just because you’re the best today doesn’t guarantee that number one spot tomorrow. Without constant development of driver and car alike, things can end up getting pretty dicey and someone could slide down the list in a hurry.
This time, we check in with some behind the scenes action from Monza and his sinister split bumper machine. This season, he has upgraded the twin-turbo Chevrolet Camaro quite a bit. In this one, we join in with Monza as he takes us behind the scenes at Larry Larson Race Cars and shares with us exactly how the Camaro is coming along.
Among the improvements, we find different things like suspension and additions that should help the car to stay together for the entirety of its competition. The one thing that these drivers would probably call the most important is the longevity of their cars. If the machines fall apart they aren’t going to do much good, now are they? It sounds like a simple task but with all of that power, it’s much easier said than done.
By following along with the video below, we get to see some of the best in the business as they hone their craft to stay at the top of the mountain. Will these upgrades and improvements translate to Monza conquering the list? Only time will be able to tell.
